doubles match against Fayetteville State to help A&T win 7-0...Also partnered
with Kenya Colbert, April Burrage, and Azeib Nigatu for one doubles match
each.
2011 Season: Played in nine singles and five
doubles matches...Finished the season 1-8 in singles competition, and 1-2 in MEAC
singles matches...Went 0-3 in doubles with Azeib Nigatu, 0-1 in doubles with
Angelica Marshall and 1-0 in doubles with Kimberly Stalling...Defeated Ashley
Foster of Norfolk State on March 4 in singles by 7-5, 6-1 final...Won 9-7
against Chenge Tsapayi and Ashley Foster in doubles with Kimberly Stalling on
March 4.
2010 Season: Played in 14 singles and 17 doubles
matches as a freshman...Ended the year 1-13 with a 0-4 MEAC record in
singles...Went 6-7 in doubles play with sister Nina Henry, 0-1 in doubles with
Jaymee Jones and 0-3 in doubles with Azeib Nigatu.
High School: Attended Creekside High School where
she competed in varsity tennis all four years.
Personal: Full name is Nianna Henry...She is the
daughter of Brett and Nicol Henry...She has one sister, Nina....Was born on June
29, 1991...Majors in journalism & mass communications and plans to be a
sports anchor...Her other interests include shopping, traveling and spending time
