2011 Season: In singles, went 1-13 overall and 0-4 in MEAC...Played in 12 doubles matches, nine with Nianna Henry and three with Cayla Cross...Picked up the win (6-0, 7-6) on March 5 at Savannah State.
2010 Season: Finished the year 7-12 in singles competition...Went 4-9 in doubles play with Cayla Cross...Competed alongside Nianna Henry three times and had was doubles partners with Jaymee Jones, Danielle McCaskill and Chloe McSwain one time apiece.
2009 Season: Posted a 3-15 record in singles competition...Went 1-13 in doubles play with Shonda Redfern as a partner...Also had a 0-1 record in doubles with Danielle McCaskill and a 1-4 record in doubles with Jaymee Jones.
High School: Won All-Conference honors all four years at Park Senior High School.

Nigatu...Parents are Tadesse and Zabeida Nigatu, and has two brothers, Ayoub and Zekeria...Was born on March 31, 1990, and is majoring in Psychology...She is on the Dean's List and volunteers on campus...She had an internship with Downtown Greensboro...Is a member of Psychology Club...She taught a summer camp this past summer...Her goal is to help lead the team to the MEAC Tournament and Championship.
