Avilez put together an impressive second season for the Aggies …Played a major role in the Aggies winning their third straight MEAC title … Also helped the Aggies reach a No. 2 ranking in the nation during the month of the December 2022 in the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) poll … Brings an impressive power game to the Aggies lineup … Throws the ball hard down the lane … Has revs in her game and brings versatility to the lanes with her style of bowling … Head coach Kim Terrell-Kearney and assistant Eric Kearney will help her enhance her game … She was named one of A&T’s Academic Athletes of the Year in 2022.

2022-23 Season: Bowled in 763 total frames during a season where the Aggies won their third straight MEAC championship … Recorded 364 strikes during the season with a 48.7 strike percentage … Compiled a 64.3 spare percentage … Made 76.5 percent of her makable spares, 84.9 percent of her single-pin spares and 64.6 percent of her multiple-pin spares … Avilez also converted 8.7 percent of her split spare attempts … Bowled in 31 traditional matches and totaled 6,069 pins for an average of 195.77 … Bowled 14 games with a score of 200 or better … Bowled a career-high 269 against Coppin State on Feb. 12 … Bowled a 234 against Belmont at Vanderbilt’s Music City Classic on March 18.

2021-22 Season: Participated in seven matches as a freshman for A&T … Knocked down 1,414 pins at an average of 202.0 per match … Tallied four 200-plus matches throughout the season including a high of 256 which was third-best on the team … Best finish was 37th at the Prairie View A&M Invitational.  

High School/Club: Missed her senior season due to the COVID-19 pandemic … Played in two separate leagues including the Parker Bohn III/Johnny Petraglia Scholarship League and the Rab’s Junior Classic … Owns four career 300 games … Competed on New Dorp’s team her sophomore and junior seasons prior to the pandemic.
