2020 Season: Season was canceled early because of the COVID-19 pandemic … Played in seven singles matches going 3-3 with one match left unfinished… Went 2-2 at No. 3 singles and 1-1 at No. 4 singles… Played in seven doubles matches with a 3-2 record and two matches left unfinished… Earned his first singles win of the season on Jan. 25 over Charlotte’s Collin Thomson 6-7, 7-5, 10-8 on the No. 4 court… Paired with Esteban Lopez at No. 2 doubles to defeat Charlotte’s Collin Thomson and Ignasi de Rueda 6-2 for his first doubles win… Beat College of Charleston’s Karl Mosterd 6-1, 6-7, 1-0 at No. 3 on Feb. 2… Paired with Lopez to defeat College of Charleston’s Noah Borges and Johnny Wang 6-2… Defeated King University’s Ross Edgar 7-5, 6-1 on Feb. 23… Paired with Lopez and beat King’s Jorge Rojas and Robby Mayher 6-0 at No. 2 doubles.
2019 Season: Played in 18 singles matches and 19 doubles matches during the season … Went 5-12 during the season in singles play with one match going unfinished … Compiled a 6-9 record in doubles play with four of his matches going unfinished … Earned his first win of the season on Feb. 16 when he defeated Davidson’s Camden Mazzoni 6-4, 6-4 at No. 3 singles …In MEAC play, he went 2-3 … Won two of his last three matches on the season with a 6-0, 6-3 win over Florida A&M’s Rodney Sturgis on March 24 and a 6-1, 6-2 win over N.C. Central’s Christos Dagklis on March 30 … Earned his first doubles win of the season as he and partner Hayden Faulkenbury defeated Radford’s Alexandros Caldwell and Michiel Meekers 7-6 … Won the final two doubles matches of the season both with VasilIvanov with wins over UC-Riverside and N.C. Central.
2018 Season: Played in 12 singles matches and 12 doubles matches as a freshman … Went 2-10 as a singles player and 1-11 as a doubles player … Earned his first collegiate win on Jan. 19 when he defeated Liberty’s Diego Castano 6-1, 4-6, 1-0 … Ended the season with a win over UC Riverside’s Chung Gilbert 6-2, 6-4 … Earned a doubles win with Dreshaun Jarmon 6-3 over UC Riverside.
