Pat Williams was named the assistant coach for both the Men and Women in September 2018. He has teamed up with Coach Crutchfield to help lead the Aggie Tennis program to success.

Williams, a former head coach at Greensboro College directed the 2001 Pride women to a 17-3 overall record, the best in GC history. Under Williams' guidance, Marnie Greenblatt became the first Pride women's player to qualify for the NCAA Tournament in 2001.

A USPTR certified teaching professional, Williams has been a leader in the Greensboro Tennis Community for over two decades. Serving as the Director and Head Professional for several local clubs such as Sedgefield Country and Lake Jeannette Swim and Tennis Club. Currently, Williams is the owner and President of Pat’s Tennis Aces a Tennis Management Company.

A native North Carolinian, Williams was raised in the Pinehurst area where he played for the legendary Coach John Fry and captured the school firsts State Title in 1991. From there, Williams went on to play tennis and basketball at Greensboro College where he was the named captain on the basketball team as a senior and won team awards in tennis, including Most Valuable Player in 1993.

Williams graduated from GC with a degree in Business Administration and Economics.

Williams has two daughters, Madlyn and Mariah.
