Jasmine Rhodes was hired as the new North Carolina A&T women’s basketball player of development by head coach Tarrell Robinson on August 1, 2020.
Rhodes comes to Aggieland after serving at rival Bethune-Cookman for two years.
She was responsible for the sports of men’s and women’s golf, bowling and cheerleading and assisted with football, softball, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, men’s and women’s tennis, men’s and women’s track and field and volleyball.
For the golf teams, bowling and cheerleading, Rhodes created, designed, coached and implemented programs and workouts, created and implemented recovery sessions and implemented nutrition protocol for in-season and post-season.
Prior to BCU, Rhodes was the assistant athletic performance coach from at William Penn University in Oaskoloosa, Iowa starting in August of 2017.
While she was at William Penn, Rhodes was the head athletic performance coach at Lynnville-Sully Highs School in Sully, Iowa, where she created, designed and implemented programs for all sports and create and implemented speed and conditioning work.
Rhodes was a strength and conditioning intern at Louisiana State University (LSU) starting in May of 2015. She also was a seasonal performance coach at Michael Johnson Performance in McKinney, Texas during the summer of 2017.
Rhodes graduated from LSU with bachelor’s of science degree in 2017 and received her master’s degree from B-CU in 2020.
