An outstanding local talent who became the cornerstone of building N.C. A&T’s young and fledgling women’s golf program … Has been a consistent and stable presence throughout her career at N.C. A&T … Has used her short game to help one of the newest varsity programs on campus have early success with tournament wins … Academically, she is a member of Phi Alpha Epsilon, she is a Dowdy Scholar and she is in Honors College … Has played in 22 tournaments of the 24 tournaments the Aggies have played during her career which means she qualifies in practice for N.C. A&T tournaments 91.7 percent of the time … Has 4,191 career strokes for her career … Has played 52 rounds in her career for an average of 80.6.

2019-20 Season: Season was canceled early because of the COVID-19 pandemic … Competed in all six tournaments the Aggies completed during the season which means she qualified to play in all of those tournaments in practice … Played in 14 rounds of golf and totaled 1,109 strokes for an average of 79.2 … Had one top-10 finish … Helped the Aggies win the SSU Tiger Invitational for the second time in three years by shooting a 17-over 161 to place ninth, Oct. 28-29.

2018-19 Season: Played in eight tournaments and one match play event during her sophomore season …  She played in nine of the Aggies 10 events during the season which means she qualified to play in those events in practice … Played in 20 rounds of golf and totaled 1,598 strokes for an average 79.9 … Had four top-5 finishes during the season … Placed  fourth to open the season at the Delaware State Invitational, Sept. 24-25, to help the Aggies claim the tournament as Harriman shot a 13-over 157 … Finished tied for fourth at the Gulf Shores Intercollegiate Tournament, Oct. 21-22, as she shot a two-round 23-over 165 to help the Aggies finish second … Also finished tied for fourth at the Women’s Collegiate Golf Championships in Fayetteville, Ga., with a two-round 15-over 157, April 27-28, to help the Aggies claim another tournament victory … Placed fifth at the SSU Tiger Invitational, Oct. 29-30, with a three-round 15-over 231 to help N.C. A&T finish second.

2017-18 Season: Played in eight tournaments and one match play event during her freshman season … She played in nine of the Aggies 10 events that season which means she qualified to play in those events in practice … Played 18 rounds of golf and totaled 1,484 strokes for an average of 82.4 … Had three top-10 finishes, four top-15 finishes and one top-5 finish … Made her collegiate debut at the Hampton Invitational, Sept. 25-26, where she helped the Aggies win the program’s first-ever tournament by shooting a 26-over 170 to finish seventh … Had her best finish of the season at the SSU Tiger Invitational, Oct. 30-31, as she shot a 7-over 149 to finish fourth… Her performance helped the Aggies win the tournament as a team … At the SSU Tiger Invite, shot her lowest round of the season, a 1-over 73 in the second round … Placed eighth at the Women’s Collegiate Golf Championships in Fayetteville, Ga., by shooting a 24-over 166 as the Aggies finished second … Placed 15th at the MEAC Showcase as she shot a three-round 38-over 254 to finish 15th to help N.C. A&T finish second at the tournament.

High School: Attended and competed in golf at Southwest Guilford in High Point, N.C. under head coach Ryan Richmond …  Was one of the best golfers in North Carolina during her prep career … As a junior, she finished tied for 47th at the Class 4A state championships … As a senior, she improved her standing by finishing 27th with a 23-over 167 at Pinehurst No. 5 … Was among the top qualifiers coming out of the 4A Central region … Shot a season-low 33 (nine holes) at the Southwest Guilford Tri-Match … Matched that with a 33 a week later … Shot a 75 at the Piedmont Triad Conference 18-hole Final Match finishing one stroke behind the top medalist.

Personal: Full name is Madison Harriman … She is the daughter of Mike and Sarah Harriman … Was born on Dec. 20, 1998 … Majors in architectural engineering … Siblings are Emma and Grace … Used to be an equestrian … Plans to travel the world and enjoy playing different golf courses after graduation … She is also a member of SAAC.
