2020 Season: Played in eight singles matches and seven doubles matches as a freshman at N.C. A&T … Posted a 3-5 record as a singles player … Played five matches at No. 4 singles, two at No. 5 singles and one at No. 3 singles … He was 2-3 at No. 4 singles, 1-1 at No. 5 singles and 0-1 at No. 3 singles … Had his best success as a doubles player with Jorge Goenaga as the duo went 3-3 with all six matches at No. 2 doubles … Played one doubles match with Pablo Carranza at No. 2 singles … Made his collegiate debut on Jan. 18 at Duke where he lost to Michael Heller 6-2, 6-2 … Earned his first collegiate win at Charlotte when he defeated Cole Brainard 6-7, 6-5, 7-6 … Defeated Davidson’s Douglas MacIntosh at Davidson 3-6, 7-6, 6-4 on Feb. 5 … Defeated King University’s Jorge Rojas on Feb. 23 at King University 6-2, 6-1 … Teamed with Goenaga at Charlotte to defeat Collin Thomson and Ignasi de Rueda 6-2 … Goenaga and Lopez defeated College of Charleston’s Noah Borges and Johnny Wang 6-2 on Feb. 2 … The duo won against King’s Rogas and Robby Mayher 6-0.
 
High School: Played high school tennis internationally … Earned an overall record of 4-3 with one of those wins coming against a 4-star player.
