GREENSBORO – Earl M. Hilton III, in his final appointment as Director of Intercollegiate Athletics, named Jordan Curtis-Mallory the new head cheerleading coach at North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University.

Before A&T, Curtis-Mallory spent more than five years coaching collegiate cheerleading, including as a stunt and tumble coach. At A&T, he aims to provide overall leadership and direction for the program by establishing operations, team standards, practice planning, scheduling, and performance preparation.

He also plans to develop and support A&T cheerleading student-athletes and lead recruitment and retention efforts. Curtis-Mallory will be responsible for choreography, skill development, execution, conditioning, team selection, and preparation for collegiate competitions. His duties will also include staff coordination, travel, fundraising, community engagement, coordinating university appearances for the cheerleaders and mascots, and promoting the program.

His contributions to the sport have been recognized through honors including the 2021 Stomp and Shake Coach of the Year award and his 2022 induction into the Cheer Extreme Allstars Athlete Hall of Fame.

Curtis-Mallory began his tenure with Aggie Cheerleading with a standout performance at the 2026 NCA College Cheer Camp in Myrtle Beach, SC. Competing in the Intermediate Division I Small Coed division, the Aggies won both the Crowd Segment and Rally Routine divisions before advancing to the Crowd Segment finals, where they earned the overall title across participating schools and divisions.
Seven student-athletes also earned NCA Cheer All-American honors, and the program secured a Gold Bid to the 2027 NCA College Cheer Nationals.

As head coach, Curtis-Mallory said he is committed to honoring the traditions of North Carolina A&T while continuing to elevate Aggie Cheerleading on the national stage through athlete development, accountability, leadership, and excellence.
