LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Congratulations to North Carolina A&T Aggies bowlers Victorya White, a sophomore out of Wentzville, Mo., and junior Savannah Burgin, a junior out of Grapevine, Texas. Both Aggies made Junior Team USA last week at the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) Team USA Trials and U.S. Amateur.

It marks the first time the A&T Aggies bowling program has had bowlers on the Youth National Team.

"This has been such an incredible week watching our players compete at the US Team Trials," said A&T head bowling coach Kim Terrell-Kearney. "The best players in the country are all fighting to get a chance to wear that jacket. I am so proud of both. They battled down to the last shot. Being the first to represent A&T on the Junior Team USA is such an accomplishment. We have had a lot of talented players in the past. I am a proud coach today."

White finished 23rd overall and had the highest pinfall on the final day of the event last Wednesday by toppling 1,290 pins. White had a total pinfall of 6,250 over five days. White is the reigning Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowler of the Year, and head coaches and sports information directors voted her the 2025-26 MEAC Preseason Bowler of the Year.

Burgin totaled 6,090 pins for the week, placing 25th overall. Her best showing came on the first day with a total pinfall of 1,286. Burgin has emerged as a key bowler for A&T, the 13th-ranked team in the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) Top 25 poll. She earned MEAC Bowler of the Week for the week of November 2-9.

The Aggies open the second half of the season at the Northeastern Classic hosted by Sacred Heart in New Castle, Del, January 16-18. The Aggies are 29-17 overall.
