CLEMSON, S.C. – Sophomore
Javonte Harding is having a great follow-up to his spectacular freshman campaign.
On Saturday at Clemson University's Bob Pollock Invitational, Harding had his best showing ever in an indoor 200-meter event. Harding ran a 20.33 to finish in first place.
The time broke the facility record at the Clemson Indoor Track and Field Facility. It is also the second-best time run in the country this season. Harding, who ran the best indoor 200m race of his career, is tied for the 16th-best Division I collegiate time in history.

Randolph Ross, Jr. Ross Jr., who has the best 400m time in the nation, ran a 20.57 to move into third nationally in the 200.

Elijah Young and Ross Jr. The foursome finished second behind the Florida Gators with a time of 3:03.39 with Ross Jr. running a 44.13 on the anchor leg. The Gators completed the relay in 3:03.21. Florida and A&T are now ranked first and second in the NCAA.
The women's 4x400 comprised sophomore
Jonah Ross, senior
Kamaya Debose-Epps, and graduates
Delecia McDuffie and
Symone Darius. They ran a 3:39.38 to finish second behind the Gator women's 3:31.61.
Graduate thrower
Loren James had another good outing on Saturday. She placed second in the women's shot put with a throw of 52-feet, 5 1/4-inches. It marked the best indoor throw of her career. She is now ranked 36th in the country in the event.
Graduates
Nazah Reddick and
Paula Salmon finished fourth and fifth in the women's high jump. Reddick jumped 5-feet, 8 1/2-inches and Salmon leaped 5-feet, 7 1/4-inches.
The women's 200 saw three Aggies finish in the top-10, led by Debose-Epps' third-place finish (23.34).
Jonah Ross placed fourth at 23.51, and Darius was seventh (23.73). After Saturday, Debose-Epps is ranked 10th, and
Jonah Ross is ranked 19th, nationally. A&T Aggie Kayla White and Nike runner Kayla White, the 2019 NCAA Indoor Women's Track Athlete of the Year, won the 200m with the third-fastest time on the globe this year.
For the Camel City Invitational, the Aggies are back in action next, Feb. 4-5, at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C.. It will be their third time this season competing at JDL.
