The North Carolina A&T men's basketball team made a strong run in
the second half, but could not overcome a poor shooting first half
in a 93-82 loss to Ohio Tuesday night at the Convocation Center. Nic
Simpson led the way with 22 points and DaMetrius Upchurch had 11
points and eight rebounds off the bench.

OUT SEASON IN DURHAM
Aggies come from behind in second set
DURHAM, November 16, 2009 --The North Carolina A&T volleyball team saw its season come to an end
on Monday night with a 3-1 loss to N.C. Central (25-21, 23-25,
25-20, 25-16). Senior Janae Mitchell led the Aggies with 14 kills
and six digs. Fellow senior Tiffany Mellette had 18 digs. |

Thomas Coleman secured his second double-double in as many games,
but Marshall was able to pull away in a 79-63 win over the North
Carolina A&T men's basketball team Sunday afternoon at the Cam
Henderson Center. Robert Johnson led the Aggies with 16.

Simpson scores 18 of his 21 in the second half

13, 2009 -- North
Carolina A&T sophomore Nic Simpson finished with 21 points on
5-for-10 shooting from the 3-point arc to lead the Aggies men's
basketball team to a 92-63 win over Brevard College Friday night at
Corbett Sports Center. Thomas Coleman added 11 points, 14 rebounds
and five blocked shots. |

Thomas finishes with a career-high 10 rebounds
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y., November 13, 2009 -- Ta'Wuana Cook scored
15 points and Crystal Murdaugh and Jaleesa Sams finished with 10
points apiece, but Marist got 30 points from Rachele Fitz to defeat
the Aggies 80-64 in the first round of the WNIT played at the
Marist's McCann Center. |

defending MEAC Champion North Carolina A&T women's basketball team
begins the defense of its title Friday night at Marist in the
preseason WNIT. First-team All-MEAC performers Amber Bland and
Brittanie Taylor-James will not be around for the defense. So do the
